Poland trip prep begins!

In 87 days, we will embark on another mission trip to Poland!  A group of 12 from Birmingham and Huntsville leave July 6 for a week of ministry in Katowice with Erin and Greg and King's Kids. Major prayer requests now include our flight itinerary, scheduling team meetings, fundraising and putting together our support team.  Can't wait to see how the Father comes through on all these things!  I read through some of the "Help! I'm going on a Short Term Mission Trip" handbook.  It was definitely exciting thinking about all that goes into preparing for a short term mission trip but also overwhelming for a habitual procrastinator like me.  I WILL DO BETTER this time around!  I'm starting with setting reminders in my phone to help with deadlines.  Josh has already started working on our support letter - he's way better at this stuff than me.  Also, this is our first blog attempt.  I'm hoping to update this at least weekly leading up to the trip to keep up with answered prayers and our progress.  12 blog posts is not too much, right??
